Francesco Caglione will train with Cara Academy goalkeeper Francesco Gaglietti on a regular basis.
The former Milan goalkeeper will begin his first season with the Serie A side on Wednesday after signing a three-year contract.
The 20-year-old is a versatile keeper with a solid game and will also be tasked with keeping the ball in the net and preventing dangerous chances from coming his way.
Totti’s first taste of professional football came when he played for AC Milan and he also made his name as a striker with Sampdoria in the Italian second division.
It was during his time at Sampdori that he was loaned out to Lazio, then Roma, where he made seven appearances.
His stints at Lazio and Roma ended with the former Milan keeper joining Inter in 2015.
Sgagne will be a veteran of the national team with an impressive record at both club and national team level.
“I have been a fan of Francesco for years,” said the goalkeeper’s father, Francesco.
“I believe he will have a great future with us.”
Caglioli will be part of the squad for the game against Roma on Tuesday.
Gagliotti is a former Italy Under-21 international and will be competing in his first competitive game for Francesco this season.
He made his debut for the Giallorossi in November 2016, scoring against Sevilla in a Europa League qualifying tie.
After the international break, Francesc will spend time with his family in Turin.
