Ashley Cole to be loaned to AC Milan, Juventus, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Everton, Sevilla, Monaco

Ashley Cole has agreed a one-year loan to Juventus, AC Milan and Barcelona, with the Italian champions looking to strengthen their attacking options in the summer.

The 26-year-old midfielder will join the Italian giants at the start of the season after the World Cup, but the move will be completed in the coming days.

Cole has had a long and impressive career in Italy, having first made his debut for Italy in 2003 and made his senior international debut in the 2014 World Cup.

A former Napoli and Lazio player, Cole joined Everton in 2013 and spent three seasons at Goodison Park, before signing for Milan in 2015.

However, the former Liverpool and Fulham forward has struggled to establish himself in his new surroundings and was dropped for the first time at the end of the campaign.

However the deal is expected to allow Cole to focus on his international ambitions, with Juventus a strong possibility.

“He is a player who has the ability to play for three or four years,” a Milan source told Sky Sport Italia.

“But the club has made it clear that they want to add a third player for the future.”

I am convinced that he will be available for the end-of-season period, and that it is a good moment for him to return to the national team.
